Achievements

1999 – Jointly with experts of Molecular genetics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences a principally new pharmaceutical product was developed. It combines properties of an enterosorbent and prebiotic. It was registered and patented under the trade mark “Lactofiltrum”. It consists of hydrolyzed lignin and lactulose.
The following 6 years’ intensive examinations of this drug proved its high effectiveness as a treatment for microflora disorder in the intestinal tract caused by antibiotics administration, and for treatment of different gastrointestinal diseases.

2000 - New solid dosage form of hydrolyzed lignin was registered under the name ”Filtrum”.

2001 – Clinical effectiveness of “Lactofiltrum” administration in a complex therapy of atopic dermatitis in children was proved.

2005 - “Lactofiltrum” is registered in Ukcraine.

2005 - STI-MED-SORB was chosen as a supplier of pharmaceuticals for the Russian government programme-DLO

2004-2006 – “Lactofiltrum” achieves the leading position on the Russian market of probiotics and prebiotics.

2006 - Manufacturing facilities in Kirov have successfully passed GMP inspection of the Federal Agency on Technical Kegulating and Metrology.

2006 - 37 new pharmaceutical formulations are developed and applied for the patent.
