Ecofiltrum – a new dual-action enterosorbent

Ecofiltrum® is a unique complex new-generation product designed for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and intoxications of different etiology in animals and birds. Unique formula Ecofiltrum® consists of the sorbent lignin and prebiotic lactulose. Lignin is the efficient and safe sorbent, natural polymer of plant origin with the micro- and macroporous structure. Lignin has a high sorption capacity, adsorbs and eliminates different toxins from the body including mycotoxins, pathogenic bacteria and their metabolites. Lactulose is a prebiotic with the highest prebiotic activity index, synthetic disaccharide which stimulates the growth of lacto- and bifido bacteria in the large intestine. Lactulose facilitates the normal flora replenishment, pH decrease of the large intestine content, inhibition of opportunistic microflora, improvement of nutrition, immunity enhancement. The patented combination of lignin and lactulose has been successfully applied in medical practice for more than 10 years.
